Commonwealth Care Alliance Website Redesign

Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA) is a non-profit specialized insurance company serving seniors over 65 years and those with chronic disabilities or diseases. When I joined in 2019 as the Web Specialist I worked to update components throughout the website including plan details, documents and marketing materials. I collaborated frequently with other departments such as Pharmacy, Sales, and Compliance to execute changes.

My major project came in 2020 when working with an agency to modernize the website experience. I worked as the internal lead on the project and helped craft the web architecture for a complex multi-state health plan, kept accessibility top of mind and gathered content across departments. This led to a brand new website that adhered to our new modernized branding guidelines, a built out blog called Living Well where we shared health related articles especially focused on COVID in 2020, a navigation menu that was easier to follow, and best-in-class accessibility tools and customization.

In addition in 2020 I worked in collaboration with IT teams and product owners to perfect and launch our Provider Lookup web app. My duties involved QA testing and managing issue trackers ahead of the launch date for our app.
