I joined the YMCA of Greater Boston in late 2020, when the organization was making critical steps towards re-opening to all members, following the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time the website was only 12 pages and contained minimal information for members or prospects.
I helped transform the website into 150+ pages of informative content about all the services and programs the YMCA offered. This web content spanned widely from youth sports classes, to summer day camp information to adult education classes to philanthropy events. I worked with the heads of each department to build this information out and optimize it for a website audience. I worked with a digital agency to obtain photography that fit our brand vision for the website.
Combining this with an effective webform strategy, the new website generated thousands of leads per month across all offerings. SEO rankings exponentially improved and the YMCA became a leader in search results for core business focuses such as Swim Lessons and Youth Sports programs.
